The GCSC is a functional element of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency to enhance OSD policy dissemination and to increase awareness of DoD international partner education and training resources. The GCSC maintains a common operating picture for the Regional Centers and consortium members by providing a consolidated events calendar, student management system, curriculum reviews, reporting functions, and databases of subject matter experts and lessons learned & best practices. All of these functions are available to supported activities through a password-protected internet site, using the GlobalNet system.
