Abstract
This paper analyzes one segment of the management
problem that exists in the Navy's recreation program--
financial management. The origin of the Navy recreation
funds has been briefly reviewed in order to better understand
the current financial management procedures. The effects
of the current procedures have been analyzed and a recommendation
for improved financial control has been offered.
