Abstract
Work scheduling is one of the cornerstones of a well managed real property management program. This study addresses itself to the master work scheduling aspect of the Marine Corps Maintenance Management Program. This function has recently become more complex with the imposition of additional constraints. A computer based system consisting of a punched card job data library, computer programs and associated routines is proposed. The system is considered sufficiently developed for a pilot test project. Though the computer programs are based upon the IBM 1401 data processing system, the treatment of maintenance scheduling variables has application to any computer oriented approach to the problem.
