Abstract
The Federal Government has long been a leader in the
field of automatic data processing, and is today the world's
largest user of computers. The volume and complexity of the
information processed by these computers are awesome . ·It
would be physically impossible in this day and age to carry
out many Federal programs without electronic data processing
equipment.
