Abstract
An investigation was undertaken in order to determine the effect of the alpha to gamma transformation on the short time creep behavior of an iron-10% chromiun-10% nickel alloy. Test temperatures ranged from 450 degrees C to 600°C, initial stresses ranged from 15,000 to 80,000 psi, and time to rupture ranged from 10 minutes to 180 hours.
