Abstract
A computer procedure to solve interactively the
daily flight scheduling problem for training squadrons
is proposed. The scheduling problem for a prototype
squadron, Fighter Squadron One Hundred Twenty-one, is
mathematically analyzed using graph coloring
techniques. A procedure similar to published class
scheduling solutions which uses an assignment
algorithm is formulated. A computer program is then
developed to demonstrate the procedure.
