Abstract
Mr. RUPPERSBERGER. Madam Speaker, I rise before you today to honor Rear Admiral Michael K. Mahon upon his retirement from the position of Director of Surface Warfare for the United States Navy. A 1979 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Rear Admiral Mahon furthered his education as he earned a Master’s degree in strategic planning from the Naval Postgraduate School and national security strategy from the National War College, where he graduated with distinction.
