NPS is planning a degree in intelligence, in full coordination
with the intelligence community (IC). While NPS
has offered intelligence and classifi ed research opportunities
for over twenty-fi ve years, in December 2004 the
Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act gave
authority, under the Director of National Intelligence
(DNI), “to establish an integrated framework that brings
together the educational components of the intelligence
community in order to promote a more effective and productive
intelligence community
