Abstract
The type of the functions appearing in the expression for electromagnetic fields in finite magnetoplasmas depends only on the properties of the medium manifested in the separation constants. The w-B plane of the Brillouin diagram is partitioned into a definite number of zones characterized by the type of field solutions. The general quantitative behavior of the Separation constant for finite magnetoplasma in a longitudinal magnetic field on the Brillouin diagram is described.
