Abstract
This research report will analyze and apply to maritime strategy and fleet posture the basics of 20th as well as 21st century warfare in the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans: geopolitics, operations, tactics, and weapons/materiel and personnel. The project will address how these constant as well as contemporary factors apply to present and future naval war in these two maritime theaters amidst the return of great power competition with Russia and China.
