Abstract
This document reports findings from an MDA Process Engineering Workshop (PEW) hosted by the Naval Postgraduate School 15-17 January 2008. The objectives of the PEW were to: • Refine, extend, and validate a process model of Maritime Domain Awareness • Define attributes of the activities that constitute MDA, specifically information requirements, processing activities, products, and resource (time, manning) requirements • Specify which MDA activities may benefit from Spiral 1 technologies, and develop concepts for assessing that utility • Identify barriers to fielding MDA Spiral 1 technologies
