Abstract
Testing of the XR-3 Captured Air Bubble Testcraft was
accomplished to determine the center of gravity location
which results in the minimum thrust required for a given
velocity. The optimum center of gravity was determined
to be one hundred and nineteen inches forward of the
stern transom for velocities higher than twelve knots.
