Abstract
A workable design is presented for emulating the AN/UY K-7 multiprocessing computer system on the Burrough's Interpreter Based System, the D-Machine. The program developed provides for exact execution of the AN/UYK-7 instruction repertoire with the exception of Floating Point, hardware interrupts and IOC Instructions. The design allows for future expansion to incorporate these functions. Input/Output is limited to a card reader, line printer and single disk. Various aspects of Emulation, the D-Machine, and the AN/UYK-7 are discussed and a detailed User's Manuals provided along with recommendations for modifying the design into a full emulation.
