Abstract
STAR-TIDES (ST) gathered engineers and innovation leaders from industry, academia, and the non-profit sector, focusing on individuals with direct knowledge of open-source geospatial information system (GIS) applications, unmanned autonomous systems (UAS), and disaster management systems (DMS) and social system networking. Scenarios included stabilization operations in Afghanistan and disaster response situations in Central America.
