Abstract
X-Ray diffraction studies were performed on polyethylene and polypropylene Samples
which were elongated in creep tests at very low strain rates. The results of the creep
tests were reported earlier.' The creep specimens were found to have a preferred
orientation similar to that reported by other investigators ²¯¹¹ and, in addition, to have
an orientation-dependent change in lattice parameter.
