Eleanor Uhlinger, Naval Postgraduate School university librarian and recipient of the Federal Librarian of the Year Award in 2010, discusses the library's role in the digital age, the importance of archives and influences in her life. John Castagna, a retired physician and volunteer for the City of Monterey's Public Library and California History Room, highlights his work to digitize historic photographs and preserve Monterey's legacy.
