Abstract
The time-averagad power-density distribution belowthe ocean surface due to
incident laser radiation isn examined by means of computer simulation of the
geometrical optics involved with the air/sea interface and subsequent ocean penetration by the laser beam. The effects over the entire spectra cf incidence
angles, wind velocities, wind directions, beam spot sizes and depths of penetration are analyzed.
