Abstract
LTC U.L.J. Sylvester Perera, Sri Lanka Army wrote the article, “The Sri Lankan Civil War: A Personal Reminiscence,” which was published by CTX in November 2015. LTC Perera is a graduate student in Defense Analysis at NPS, and will graduate in Spring 2016. Advised by Professor Douglas Borer and Colonel Ian Rice, his thesis is titled, The Influence of the Tamil Diaspora on Stability in Sri Lanka. Before attending NPS, LTC Perera was assigned to the Directing Staff at Defense Services Command and Staff College. His goals upon graduation are to continue growing in his professionalism as a military officer.
