Abstract
The Naval Postgraduate School Quarterdeck was a sea of khaki for the historic pinning of three new
chief petty officers under the watchful eye of Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen, Sept. 21. The
ceremony was Mullen’s last as Chief of Naval Operations, as he reports as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff Oct. 1.
