Abstract
U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Richard Shmel was presented with the Association of U.S. Army (AUSA) Stilwell Chapter Award for Top Army Student during the quarterly Student Awards Ceremony in Herrmann Hall, Sept. 12. Shmel was recognized with the award, in part, for research into his degree thesis "The Implementation of a Photonic Nyquist Folding Analog-to-Information Receiver."
