| dc.description.abstract | In this episode of Out of the Classroom, NPS-CHDS master’s program alumnus Ryan Monaghan discusses how a project from his Strategic Planning course was implemented by his agency. Monaghan is a Police Lieutenant for the San Mateo (CA) Police Department. By applying a Lean Startup Model, the Department was able to inject new life into a stagnant project to develop an internal terrorism liaison program. The principles Monaghan learned in Strategic Planning enabled him to build consensus among stakeholders while establishing the framework for an interagency terrorism liaison program. | en_US |
