Abstract
The effects of a neutron charge distribution are considered. It is suggested that the charge distribution is of the form (handwritten equation follows). The effects of this charge distribution for various values of the parameters c and f, on the mean square radius of carbon, and on the charge form factor od carbon at high q are shown. The effect of the neutron becomes appreciable in carbon above the diffraction minimum. The neutron in this range of q(2) adds approximately 50% to the carbon form factor.
