Abstract
This report contains an analysis of three post launch evasion strategies. The purpose of the analysis is to provide equations that can be used with values determined by other means to obtain a conservative estimate of the relative effectiveness of the three strategies under specified conditions. The measure of effectiveness that is used in the analysis is the probability that, because of the localization resulting from a launch, a launching submarine will be damaged by an opponent's weapon.
