Abstract
Technological changes continue to appear at an astonishing pace and are growing in complexity. Furthermore, corporate and government emphasis is on downsizing, empowerment, reengineering of processes, and changing organizational structures. These new initiatives address changes business processes in light of changing economic and political environments. Information technologies will be used to an increasing extent to leverage other scare resources in an effort to meet these changing business requirements during the 90's and beyond.
