Abstract
An evaluation of the longitudinal static stability of a Navy- US- 2A aircraft was made. The aircraft was equipped with a Data Acquisition System capable of sensing and recording aerodynamic data other than that given by the standard cockpit instruments. Recorded data were displayed graphically and the Neutral Points for stick-free stability and stick-fixed stability we re determined. Stick-free static margin and stick-fixed static margin were determined and evaluated.
