Abstract
The development of s.n equation describing the co-ion transport through anion exchange membranes is presented in this thesis. The transport expression is the result of a combination of Fick's First Law of Diffusion with a Freundlich Adsorption Isotherm that describes the partitioning of a co-ion between the external solution and the membrane.
