Abstract
Don Brutzman has a gift for envisioning the future in computing and then developing
the technological foundation to create that future.
Professor Brutzman was inspired by iconoclastic computer science pioneer Richard
Hamming and he continues Prof. Hamming’s spirit of innovation through his pursuit of
open standards for next-generation internet technologies and web-based modeling and
simulation.
