Abstract
The computation of parameters for symmetric laminates involves series of tedious calculations for both in-plane and flexural properties. In order to alleviate the magnitude and conplexi J-y of calculations for complicated symmetric laminates, the program of this report was designed for a commercially available microcomputer, the Hewlett-Packard HP-87, and is based for the most part or. program logic developed by the Mr Force Wright Aeronautical Laboratories for the TI-59 handheld prcgramma bis calculator. Program logic is explained in detail with flowcharts and a full listing cf the program is included. A description of the program logic provides the user with a comprehensive explanation of program operation.
