| dc.description.abstract | This project will build on previous collaborative activities between NAS’s Committee on International Security and Arms Control and the Chinese Academy of Sciences on international global health security, biological safety, and biological security to build awareness of biosafety and biosecurity issues within the Chinese bioscience community. This project also aims to cultivate a set of Chinese leaders and champions in the biosecurity area and to equip Chinese scientists and institutions to better implement biosafety and biosecurity. Ultimately, it hopes improve the relationship between the U.S. and China on a range of biological security and biological safety issues. | en_US |
