Abstract
A computerized solution for three dimensional stress
analysis was developed. The solution was based on the finite
element technique employing twenty and thirty-two nodal
point three dimensional isoparametric elements. The solution
is applicable to linear elastic structures composed of homogeneous
and isotropic materials subjected to static loading
under constant temperature. Deformed states are restricted
to small displacements and displacement gradients. The
program is coded in standard FORTRAN IV and is machine independent
except for one subroutine which may be adjusted to
specific installations. .Independence of core space requirements
is achieved by use of direct access storage facilities.
