Abstract
Capt. Tom MacRae was born in the Bronx, NY and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with honors in 1987 (BS, Oceanography), where he served
as a company commander and a member of the intercollegiate boxing team.
Capt. MacRae was winged a Naval Flight Officer and qualified as a mission commander aboard Patrol Squadron Sixteen, deploying to Sigonella, Sicily;
Keflavik, Iceland; and Howard Air Force Base, Panama. He transferred to Tactical Support Center NAS North Island, CA and deployed aboard USS
Lasalle (AGF-3) in Manama, Bahrain, where he organized multi-national naval exercises among Gulf Cooperation Council and NATO allies. Capt.
MacRae subsequently earned an MBA (Finance and Strategy concentrations) at Yale University.
