Abstract
Spacecraft rendezvous and proximity missions have been addressed in several past publications,
focusing on many different aspects of the problem. This paper inves- tigates a scenario where the
target spacecraft is rotating on a plane, at a constant rate, and the chaser spacecraft is on the
same plane within close proximity. The controllability characteristics of the problem are analyzed
for both unbounded and bounded control inputs. The goal of this research is to identify a reachable
set of initial conditions, from which the chaser can successfully dock with the target.
