Abstract
MEMS Technology is a big part of the physics department here at NPS and Dr. Dragoslav Grbovic is helping make it all happen. Dr. Grbovic operates and maintains a clean room facility, with class 1000 and class 10000 areas, which allows researchers to micro-fabricate Micro Electromechanical Systems. A cleanroom or clean room is an environment, typically used in manufacturing or scientific research, with a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors.
