Abstract
This paper is a study of some of the relationships between geomagnetic activity, zonal index, and meridional index. The superposedepoch method is used to try to find relationships between mean zonal index and various types of geomagnetic activities. The stime method is used to try to find relationships between mean meridional index and the various types of geomagnetic activities. This work was conducted at the United States Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California during the winter and spring of 1954 in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Aerology.
