Abstract
Video presentation at the 2019 APEX workshop (Alumni Professional Exchange). Seth G. Jones, Ph.D., Harold brown Chair and Director of the Transnational Threats Project, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and CHDS Instructor. In this presentation from the 2019 Alumni Professional Exchange and Continuing Education Workshop (APEX), Dr. Seth Jones discusses the evolving threat of domestic terrorism. While the traditional Salafi-Jihadist movement is becoming decentralized and deteriorating into smaller, loose networks, we’ve experienced a resurgence of homegrown terrorist threats. His research shows an increase in far-right extremism within the United States, as well as Europe.
