This report is presented by the Department of Defense (DoD) in accordance with Title 10 of the United State Code, section 2249c. The Regional Defense Combating Terrorism Fellowship Program (CTFP) is a DoD security cooperation tool that provides education and training to international security personnel as part of the U.S. global effort to combat terrorism...this report accounts for the expediture of appropriated fund during Ficcal Year 2006 (FY06) for the CTFP, including the countries that received CTFP funding; the total amount of funding provided for each contry; and the educational courses attended by the foreign officers and officials. The report also includes an assessment of the effectiveness of the program and a review of DoD's efforts to improve the program.
