Abstract
A difference in frequency exists between a beam mounted
under ideal conditions and a beam mounted under actual conditions. It was the desire of the author to study the variation
in frequencies between the actual and ideal beams.
An electromagnetic exciting device was used for the
investigation to excite the beams.
