Abstract
Part I of the thesis contains a discussion of the generalized problem and the techniques and components available for the design of an analogue to digital data converter. Part II consists of the explanations of the schematic diagrams and circuit operation of the converter and its associated equipment. Part III concludes the thesis with the presentation of test data and the conclusions resulting thereby.
