The purpose of this study is to investigate the relative installation costs and advantages and disadvantages of three air conditioning systems for building 3 at M.I.T. The three systems examined are: window and package units with a separate outside air supply, fan coil units with a separate outside air supply, and an air induction system. The fan coil units with separate outside air supply was found to be the overall best system to install in building 3.en_US
