Abstract
This addresses the current configuration of surface naval vessels for employment in the information domain. It will address how surface assets such as the Aegis Guided Missile Cruiser (CG) and Destroyer (DDG) fit into the modern era of naval information dominance. An evaluation of past experiences and current technology will be used to recommend how to employ current surface assets information operations (IO) capabilities This thesis will also include an evaluation of current topics regarding information Dominance and the cyber domain, focusing on the areas of electronic warfare, cyber warfare, and military information support operations (MISO).
