Abstract
The effects of atmospheric turbulence on the performance of imagers and beam projection systems have been found to be well expressed in terms of a model for the modulation transfer function (MTF) depending on the wavelength, range, and a properly path-position weighted value of c£ , the turbulence structure constant for optical index.
