Description
This document provides good information about the establishment of the management school masters degree program. In its 1959 reaccreditation report to the then- Western College Association, NPS spelled out the rationale for the program and even noted some "rough spots" in the early going, e.g. "cramped quarters, with three instructors in single office," the desire to have "a greater percentage of faculty with research experience," and so on.
The section on the management school, which begins on page seven, ends with" The Committee feels the creation of a Management School within the Postgraduate School is an innovation of great promise."
