AE4871 Advance Spacecraft Design
The High Temperature Super Conductor Infrared Imaging Satellite (HTSCIRIS) is designed to perform the space based infrared imaging and surveillance mission and is depicted in Figure 1.1. The design of the satellite follows the 'black box' approach. The payload is a stand alone unit, with the spacecraft bus designed to meet the requirements of the payload as listed in the statement of work presented in appendix A.
