Abstract

The three pillars of modern maneuver warfare are coordinated fires, maneuver, and communication, commonly referred to as: shoot, move, communicate. With such a stress on the ability to Shoot, Move, and Communicate, why does SOF use communications systems that prohibit operators from accomplishing this trifecta in all terrain types, independent of vehicles, simultaneously?
