Film and video in this collection consists of several Naval Postgraduate School marketing films and b-roll shot during production. The collection also includes television news stories (national, international and local), documentaries and Access Monterey Peninsula Television programs.

The SCA Video & Film Collection contains NPS marketing films, some with b-roll field tapes; field video of public events such as Discovery Day, International Day and Concert on the Lawn; broadcast news files from local, national and international news organizations (e.g., KSBW-TV, KION-TV, PBS, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, CNN, MSNBC). Your Town Television, an Access Monterey Peninsula program, includes interviews with many NPS faculty, students and staff.
The programs range in format from 16mm film to U-matic tape, Betacam and DVD. Two of the earlier marketing films have been digitized and are available on the Dudley Knox Library video portal (http://www.nps.edu/video/portal/).
