Abstract
The object of this thesis is threefold, to present the theoretical analogy between the flow of a compressible gas, such as air, and the flow of water with a free surface, to describe the details of construction of the water table which utilizes the above analogy, and to outline the demonstrate the applications of the water table in the investigation of air flow.
