Abstract
Creativity and innovation have become key words in the management vocabulary in industry. A discussion of what is creativity and why it is required constitutes the first part of the study. A description of the creative individual and the organizational climate is then contrasted with the various blocks to creativity and the military climate. The final section of the study compares creativity application in industry and the military organization.
