dc.description.abstractShips, submarines, and missiles are currently manually allocated for naval strike warfare tasking. Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division has proposed to the Office of Naval Research to develop automated "predesignation" aids that automatically allocate the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile, at both the Tomahawk Strike Coordinator level, and at the individual firing, platform level. A mixed integer program is introduced for Tomahawk Strike Coordinator predesignation, and is implemented in alternate forms and tested for a variety of scenarios.en_US
