The design of a system interface for a PDP 8/E computer system and the research instruments of the Human Engineering Laboratory at the Naval Postgraduate School is discussed. Emphasis is on the digital logic where a modular approach is used. Each module is a common grouping of logic elements for performing a particular function. Seven function modules are described, and their integration into a complete system is discussed. It is intended that the equipment be built and the system tested in the near future.en_US
