Photochemistry of nitramines II stoichiometry, intermediates and products.
Rowell, Charles F.
MetadataShow full item record
This investigation was concerned with the photochemical decomposition of nitramines, particularly N-nitropyrrolidine and N,N-dinitropiperazine. Photolyses were carried out in solution and in the solid state. Intermediates were identified by spectroscopic studies and by synthesis. On the basis of the intermediates, products, and spectroscopy of products, a mechanism for the photochemical decomposition of N-nitropyrrolidine was postulated.
